Beverly Holland Obituary
Holland, Beverly J. October 5, 1924 - January 5, 2014 Beverly J. Holland left for her heavenly home with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ while living in Sarasota, FL. She is now reunited with her loving husband of 69 years Roy T., retired Navy BTC and Pearl Harbor survivor. She prepared for this all of her life in the way she conducted herself and raised her children Denny, Sandi & Mike. Bev was always a lady who could be counted on to open her home to one & all as a welcome haven. She was a Proud Patriotic American, amplified as she took on the role of Navy Wife which also became her career. Bev obtained her nursing training in Philadelphia, PA. She joined Eastern Star & enjoyed oil and watercolor painting. She & Roy traveled the country in his Naval & then civilian careers which finally landed them back to his native Texas. She's coming home to Dallas. While we all miss her already, she has certainly earned her reward! God Bless you wonderful Mom! In addition to her children, Bev leaves behind Daughters-In-Law - Patricia & Stephanie; Grandchildren - Dan & his wife Heather, Dave, Jocelyn & Kim, and Great Grandchild - Savannah. Visitation and memorial service Thurs. 1/9/14 from 5-7 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home's Abbey Chapel.
