Thinking of Ed at this time. We had sent a baseball to Mr. Borom to sign for us by his permission but never had the chance to receive it back for my son. Thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time.

Uncle Edward, you were my role model and inspiration my entire life. Visits to Dallas were always very special. I even shared your fear of flying. Your baseball stories made me laugh and your devotion to your family spoke volumes of your character. We all loved you and we miss you...but we know you're having a grand time in Heaven with all your baseball buddies. - James R. Borom, Nephew, and my wife, Harriett Borom.

Red: It was truly a pleasure to have known you. You really made Charlie's day when I introduced him to you at the Ponchetrain Hotel in Detroit. If you bump into Charlie up there, tell him "hi"....Mike

Allison Hickman-great niece. Uncle Edward was a great man and will be sorely missed. His passion was baseball and I tried unsuccessfully for years to teach him my passion, soccer. We always had lively discussions about sports! He's in a better place now and I hope he's getting to hang with all his baseball buddies thatI know he really missed. Godspeed Uncle Edward-we love you very much.
