Aduddell, Edwin I. Edwin, born February 6, 1922, in Buck Creek near Wellington, Texas, passed away the morning of October 8, 2011, in the Clyde W Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham, Texas. Ed was preceded in death by his lovely wife Mary Elizabeth (marriage of 65 years) and his youngest child, Vilu Cordelia. Survivors: 5 children, Edwin I Aduddell, Jr.; Mary JaLynn Benton; Phyllis Aduddell; Sharon Holmes; and Cynthia Kaleri; also 1 brother Jack Aduddell, 1 sister Betty Colburn, 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Edwin dedicated many years as Scout Master to Boy Scout Troop 195 at the First United Methodist Church in Grand Prairie, earning him the distinguished Silver Beaver Award. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 - 8 pm at the Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home - Dalworth in Grand Prairie, TX. Edwin was a WW II veteran and will receive military honors/ committal service at the DFW National Cemetery at 10:30 am on Thursday. Memorial service will be held Thursday at 11:30 am at the First United Methodist Church in Grand Prairie, TX. Ed was a great blessing to all who knew him; he was deeply loved and will be missed.
