Adelmann, ELEANORE ELIZABETH Our beloved wife, mother and friend went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2003 after a valiant struggle with cancer. If you knew Eleanore, you loved her. Her joy was doing for others, for both family members and any other person who needed her. Eleanore was born January 5, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA to Julius and Wilma Slow. She lived in Irving for 20 years. She was an active member of St. Luke Catholic Church where she participated in Catholic Daughters of America and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. She loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved husband, Louis, of 48 years, six sons, four daughters and twenty grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Wednesday October 15 and the Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday. Both will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church in Irving, TX. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery. A scholarship in Eleanores name will be established for tuition assistance at St. Luke School.
