Jackson, Elizabeth Leach BEDFORD-- Elizabeth Leach Jackson, 95, has gone home to her savior, Jesus on December 4, 2012. Funeral: 2:00 p.m., December 15 in the Chapel of Forest Ridge Funeral Home in Hurst, with the Reverend Win Jackson Houwen officiating and with music provided by son-in-law and associate pastor Steve Houwen and son, Jim Jackson. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Irving. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. December 14 also at the Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Tom Watkins, Daniel Donegan, Jessica Houwen, Steve Houwen, Billy Craft, Stan DeMille and Dan Proctor. Elizabeth was born in Denton, Texas in 1917 and moved with her family to Irving, Texas in 1920, where she worked in the family businesses, Leach Funeral Home and Irving Hardware Store. She is preceded in death by her first husband, R.E. Byrd and second husband, Guy A. Jackson. She is survived by her son, Jim Jackson; two daughters, Dianne Byrd-Jackson and Win Jackson Houwen; grandchildren, Joe Jack-son, Liz Jackson Donegan, Jennifer Blanton and Jessica Dianne Hou-wen; and five great-grandchildren.
