ACKERMAN, EUNICE H., 99, a resident of C. C. Young in for the last 15 years and Dallas since 1920 She was born March 26, 1905 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and passed away August 4, 2004 in Dallas, Texas. An active member of Oak Lawn United Methodist Church since 1935, she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and was active in the X, Y, Z'rs, and other women's groups. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. A."Buster" Ackerman. She is survived by her nephews and their wives, Dr. Robert and Elizabeth Houston of Houston, Dr. Don and Anna Houston of Duncanville, John and Susan Houston of Duncanville, Don and Karen Eldridge of Houston, great nieces and nephews, Ann Korman, John and Alan Houston, Clay, Cole, Craig, Chris and wife Melanie Houston, David Eldridge, and many friends from the Church and C. C. Young. Graveside Services will be held at 10 A. M. Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at Wheatland Cemetery in Dallas with a Memorial Service honoring her Life to be held at 2 P. M. Tuesday at Oak Lawn United Methodist Church, 3014 Oak Lawn at Cedar Springs with Rev. Michael House officiating. Visitation will be held from Noon until 5 P. M. Sunday, and the family will be present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Oak Lawn United Methodist Church or the C. C.
