Dear Betsy and other family members,
I join you in grieving over the loss of this amazing man. I came to know Frank in our relationship with the Mayborn Foundation and the Mayborn Graduate Institute of Journalism. I met him in 1999. I miss his phone calls, his messages and talking with him. I wish so much to hear his voice on my phone once again. I will never forget him and all he did for me personally and for his help in achieving the naming and gifting of the Frank W. Mayborn Graduate Institute and the Frank W. and Sue Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas. I know you are going through a difficult time. I will continue praying for God's grace and comfort as you mourn our Frank.

I extend my deepest sympathies to Frank's family. I played for Frank on his Little League Baseball team in the early fifties. He was a great guy.
