Furqueron, George GEORGE FURQUERON was born 11/8/1938, in Greenville, TX and passed from this life on 2/5/2013. George was a jokester and trickster who could make you laugh in a minute. He could tell a story like few others and had a wonderful ability to find humor in most situations. He lived life vigorously, keeping us laughing the whole way. He was a character and a man of character, a man who could forgive and be forgiven. George is survived by the family he deeply loved and to whom he had an unending loyalty: wife Judy Reagan of Richardson, TX, daughter Andrea Furqueron Davie of Richardson, son Reagan Furqueron and wife Stephanie Collins of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren Wyatt Davie and Lucy and Mary Jane Furqueron, brother John D. Furqueron of Florida, 6 nieces and nephews and their families, numerous cousins, and faithful friends John Hoggard and Jim Davie. He was preceded in death by parents John and Virginia Furqueron, brother Edward Allen Furqueron, cherished sister Mignon Furqueron Rodriguez, and his beloved aunt Faye Furqueron Goodson in whose Casa Linda home George spent treasured hours. George played varsity basketball at University High, Waco, Texas, and at Baylor University in Waco, where he graduated in 1962. One of George's proudest moments was enrolling at UTSW Medical Center in a worldwide research trial seeking understanding of dementia-type diseases.
