Ansley Jr., George Roy 1925 - 2013 George Roy Ansley Jr., longtimeDallas resident, passed from this life to meet his Lord on September 23, 2013. He is preceded in death by parents George R. Ansley Sr. and Agnes Lucille McGlothlin, wife Ruth Adelia Ford Ansley and survived by daughters Karen Sue Anderson of Athens, Dee Jay Taylor of Bastrop, Kathy Dee Gatewood of Garland, sister Norma LaRue Ansley Martin of Garland, brother Rex Earl Ansley of Orange, 4 grandsons and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved Faye Hufsey. George led a very successful life owning several different businesses while also serving in many leadership roles in his church. When asked what message he wanted to leave, George said "I have made peace with myself knowing that my Savior is waiting for this undeserving servant". Memorial Service will be held Monday, September 30 at 2 p.m. At First Baptist Church Richardson.
