Howard Goad Obituary

Goad, Howard Hardy Age 84, passed away February 21, 2012, in Dallas, TX. A native and life long resident of the Dallas area, Howard was born November 18, 1927, and spent his life in Cockrell Hill, Duncanville, Ferris, and DeSoto. He served in the U.S. Maritime Service and also in WWII as a member of the United States Marine Corps. He was self employed, having owned Metal Glass Co. for 40 years. He was also a Mason for nearly 60 years. Howard was a friend to all who met him and loved the outdoors and traveling in his motor home. He also enjoyed sailing, boating, and woodworking. He is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, JoAnn Goad. Howard is survived by his daughter, Dee Ann (Goad) Ainsworth & her husband, Joseph P. Ainsworth; son, Howard Kirk Goad; wife, Margaret Hill; 3 grandsons, Josh, Jarod, & Jeremy; 3 granddaughters, Kaytlin, Kelli, and Shannon; and his dear cousin, Mary Helen Crow. Funeral services are 11:00 am, Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel. Visitation with the family is 6-8 pm, Friday.
