Davis, Jack Donlon son of Elmer and Glenna Davis, born August 12, 1926 in Wellington, KS, passed away in Dallas, TX on February 28, 2013. He attended Wellington High School and the University of New Mexico where he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Being a veteran of the US Navy, he served in both WWII in destroyers and Korea. Jack was in athletics sales for his own company for over 50 years, with which he was also very involved with the Dallas Cowboys. He was also awarded the Lifetime Sales Achievement by the Sporting Goods Agents Association. Jack represented Southland Athletics for 50 years. For over 50 years, he also was a member of the Elks and a Mason. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sara K. Davis. He is survived by his wife, Osie Davis; son, Mike Davis and his wife, Cindy; daughter, Debi Spear and her husband, Scott; grandchildren: Daniel Grimes, Alec Davis, and Rhiannon Davis. Visitation will be held at Restland Funeral Home Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 10:00-11:30 AM with graveside services following at 1:00 pPM at Restland Memorial Park.
