Houlihan, Jacqueline Ann Of Aubrey, TX, fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on May 6, 2013 at the age of 83. Jacqueline was born June 29, 1929 in St. Louis, MO. In 1950, she married Robert James Houlihan. Jacqueline is survived by her loving husband, Robert James Houlihan, son Robert Houlihan and his wife Barbara, daughter Deborah O'Connell and her husband Gerard, daughter Margaret Houlihan, daughter Karen Anton and her husband Philip, son Patrick Houlihan and his wife Patricia, son Michael Houlihan and his wife Marjorie, sisters Kathleen Murphy and Maureen McVey Bean, brother James McVey and his wife Catherine; 14 grand-children, 5 great-grandchildren, and many much-loved nieces and nephews. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Katherine McVey and sister Patricia McVey. Rosary will be Thursday, May 9, at 7 pm at Slay Memorial Funeral Home, 400 S Hwy 377, Aubrey, TX, 76227. Visitation will precede the recitation of the Rosary at 6 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated the following morning at 11 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 400 St. Thomas Aquinas Ave, Pilot Point, TX, 76258 by Father Ralph Houlihan S.J. and Father James Flynn.
