COOPER, JAMES OLIN 69, passed away on January 21, 2006 in Irving, TX. He was born on May 1, 1936 in Athens, GA. Mr. Cooper was a retired Chief Petty Officer with the US Navy and retired from the National Weather Service in 1998 where he had been a meteorologist for 20 years. He was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church, the Civil Air Patrol and Irving Senior Arts Volunteer. He was preceded in death by his Father: William Cooper. He is survived by his Wife: Rose I. Cooper, Daughter & Son-In-Law: Joyce and Jaime Navarro, One Granddaughter: Isabella Navarro all of Irving, and Mother: Virginia Cooper of Mississippi. Rosary Services will be held on Thursday evening at 7:00p.m. at Calvary Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 27, 2006 at 10:00a.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church.
