Miller, John Dee John Dee Miller was born March 18, 1964 in Dallas, TX and passed March 12, 2013 of congenital heart disease. John was the youngest of 3 sons by Edward Miller & Bettye Creamer. John graduated from Plano East High School in 1983 and worked for 6 years as a Make-Ready mechanic at Johnson Chevrolet before starting RaceTech Racing Communications in 1989. With John's leadership RaceTech developed and built race car communications equipment for racing teams such as Newman-Haas Racing, Brumos Racing, LG Motorsports, Turner Motorsports, and many other notable racing teams that compete in Formula 1, CART, Indy Car Racing League, IMSA, SCCA, NASCAR, and other classes of motorsports competition. John was predeceased by his father in January, and is survived by his mother Bettye Creamer & husband Herb, brothers Bryan Miller, Pete Miller & wife Taffy, nieces: Laura Miller, Liz Miller Griffin & husband Lance and their son Reed, nephews: Dr. Chris Miller, Spencer Miller & Cade Miller all of the Dallas area. Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Grove Hill Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1p.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
