Perez, Juan He was taken to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Juan (Johnny) V. Perez was born on August 29, 1930. He is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Luz Perez, stepmother, Sara; son, Ricardo; granddaughter, Rosalinda; 4 brothers, and 3 sisters. Johnny is survived by his loving wife, Maria Perez; daughter, Veronica; grandchildren, Johnny, Diana, Adriana, Tony, Jada, Solomon: step grandchildren, BriAnna, Christina and Rebecca; Brothers, Pete and Abel and numerous brother and sister in laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A devout Catholic, he served his church as a crucillista, lector, usher and officer with the OLLL Credit Union. Johnny served our country as a paratrooper in the U.S Armed Services. Retired from the City of Dallas, and also employed by Hallmark and Elliot's Hardware, was widely respected by his co-workers. Passionate about golf, bowling he had a wide range of friends who valued his friendship. Highly respected patriarch of his family and will be sorely missed by all who loved him, his pallbearers are: Johnny Davila, Edward Davila, Augustine Perez III, Christopher Perez, Joe Michael Ramirez and Albert Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers Tony Davila and Solomon Daniels. Visitation will be held Tuesday May 8, 2012 from 1:00PM till 8:00PM with a rosary scheduled for 6:30PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday May 9, 2012 at 1:00PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 5605 Bernal Dr. Dallas, TX 75212. Interment Calvary Hill Cemetery.
