Foster, Julian Calvin Born October 16, 1925 in Flippen, GA passed away April 23, 2014 in Wylie, TX. Cal was a veteran of WWII, Marine Corps 5th Division, serving in the Pacific and saw combat on Iwo Jima. He was honorably discharged in 1946. He served in the US Army during the Korean War, and was honorably discharged. Preceded in death by parents, Lula Elizabeth and Henry Parks Foster; sisters, Bernice Turner, Bertha Walker, Flora Starr; brother, Emerson Foster. Julian is survived by his wife of 59 years, Johnie Foster; son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Donna Foster; daughter, Pamela Foster; grandchildren, Shannon Foster, Astrid Bard, Mark Foster and Matthew Caanen; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church in Dallas with visitation at 1:00 PM before the service.
