I worked some with Dr Kepler, when I first came to Dallas. We did a few difficult cases together. He was a kind, caring physician who helped many people. Part of the greatest generation who would never mention he was in the 82 airborne, and you would never know it by his soft spoken nature. It's a terrible loss and my sincere sympathies to his family. He passed within hours of my own father death who was the same age.
