This is the Lanier Family in Austin. We had the pleasure of knowing Kevin through golf at Lost Creek Country Club. Our son, Jeff, spent many days at the golf course with Kevin when he was involved with junior golf. Kevin was like a mentor (big brother) to Jeff. We all loved his humor and simply enjoyed being around Kevin. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family.
With love,
Beverly, Derris and Jeff

As a fraternity brother of Kevin's, I got to know him well. He had a tremendous ability to bring people together and friendship to him was exceedingly genuine and loyal. I will miss seeing him at SMU games but know that he had a great and positive impact on many, many people.

Jeanette and Family, I did not have the honor of knowing Kevin, however, Jeanette, through you and his pastor in Taos, I feel like I know Kevin's heart. May he enjoy eternal happiness with his God in heaven. Sincerely, Sister Rochelle Perrier, Chaplain at Christus St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe

Jeannette, You could have only a wonderful, smart, funny, delightful son. I never met him, but from my years as a childhood friend and companion to you, I know that to be true. My heart cries for you.

Our deepest heartfelt prayers and loving support to Carrie, Ellen, and Kevin's family. May you each be given what you need. We are so deeply sorry for your pain, sorrow, and loss.
About Kevin ~ A tender and generous heart with a big personality who inspired, shared, uplifted, and supported. I truly appreciate having Kevin in my life. He brought me and our family so much laughter, friendship, fun, and kindness.
He will always be considered a "very dear friend" full of life, creativity, and energy. He added to our lives in many ways and I feel blessed to have known him as we did while we lived in Fairview.
Wishing us all "Peace".

I have such fond memories of our time together... your "distinctive" laugh, your energy and passion for life, your optimisim for the future, and your kindness and patience that you always gave to others. At a young age, you taught me about strength, hope, determination and family love that I so desperatly needed at that time in my life. I will always remember and be grateful for the wonderful and special life lessons we learned and shared together in our teenage years at NMHS. I only wish I could have told you these things in person, but I know that on a spiritual level, these feelings will be known by you. Thank-you for your time with all of us that knew you! I have such great memories of high school, prom, soccer, dates, friends and disagreements that we had together that you will always have a cherished place in my heart. Jeanette, Steve and Brian you will always be loved and cherished by me also, even though the time has been so long since we last spoke. Kevin was and will always be a gift from God that was given to all of us that knew him! I am certain that he has passed down all of these wonderful qualities to his daughter! My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to his family and friends... He will ALWAYS be "Fabulous" and missed!
Love Always,
C-7

I have so many fond memories of our years together in the youth group at Calvary Presbyterian Church. Church camps, lock-ins, super bowl Sundays and many other youth group gatherings. Kevin always helped to make them fun. My deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers go out to the Sledge family.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Kevin's passing. We were good friends when I was in high school although it's been many years since we've seen each other. He had a quirky sense of humor - you never knew what Kevin might say or do but you could always be sure you'd laugh. My thoughts & prayers are with the Sledge Family.

In the limited time Kevin and I were acquainted through church, what I remember most is his warm sense of humor. It seemed he could coax a smile from anyone. My most heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to the family at this most difficult time.
