Nicodemus, Lawrence Eugene 8/29/41 - 2/4/14 Larry "Nick" Nicodemus, 72 was born in Redding, California, to Larry and Cloa Nicodemus. He served in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1967 and was stationed in Bitburg, Germany. It was there that he met his wife, Helga. They were married for 47 years. Larry was employed by American Airlines for 43 years until his retirement in 2004. He is survived by his wife Helga, sister Karyn, daughter Diana Johnson (Mario), sons Edward (Traci), Gene (Julie), grandchildren, Michele, Jennifer, Hunter, Haley, Blake, Collin and great-granddaughter, Anaiya. There will be a memorial service at the Midway Baptist Church located at 9540 Highway 377, Pilot Point, on Wednesday, February 12th at 2:00 pm. He will be laid to rest with honors at the National Cemetery in Dallas at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Unit 432 MD Anderson Cancer Center, 1515 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas 77030. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
