The last touchdown pass I threw (Clarksville High 1968) was to Lloyd (Scattercreek)Carreathers. It was also his last High School touchdown too. Although Lloyd and I only had a few great years at CHS I always felt better when He was around. Can't remember why call'in Lloyd 'scattercreek' made ever-one smile. Lloyd had that Gift from God,the ability to make anyone smile. The Lord got one of His children and the earth lost a good man of peace, my old friend Lloyd. He did make one-heck of a beautiful catch on that cold wet Friday night, of our last 'Touchdowns'.

When I first met Lloyd, it was in the service station at SOC about ten years ago. I was complaining about working in the service station and also working late nights. Lloyd was the one person that told me that it will be ok Mona. He told me to keep my head up and not to quit my job. He said the longer I be at DART the higher my seniortiy will get. He was right! I no longer have to work in the srvice station now because I have SENIORITY!! LOL! The manager always told Lloyd that he didn't have to service the buses with us, but, he didn't listen to the manager, he helped us any way. I LOVE YOU FOR THAT LLOYD! I REALLY APPREACIATED YOUR HARD WORK! YOU WILL TRULY BE MISSED AT SOCBOF AND BY MONA!

Lloyd the overseer of the Highlands always chilling at the back inside or outside your car,was a usaual thing to see. As the children of the apts grew into adults, yet you never forgot our faces. You were kind and friendly waving to our familiar faces as we passed through the Highlands apts.Even though the devil came to the highlands and lured you away, but now God has you safe. It saddens my heart to look back over the manys years you've dedicated to your family and job disregarded by a troubled lost soul. May God Keep and protect the Williams and Carreathers Family in perfect peace.

My memories are forever my brother. God will be with Rosie and your family. Your have left them in the best possible hands.

My friend Lloyd....words cannot express all the memories I have of you. All i can say is that I have known you since I was in the 7th grade and now I am almost 32 years old. Me and Jarvis are like brother and sister. You and Ms Rose always talk to me, give me advice. I then became a mother, wife, and also became a neighbor to you and the family...If we wld struggle you would be right there to lend us anything we needed. You wld be there to help me and Kelvin out. I will always remember playing dominoes and talking noise with one another. I will cherish every memory that I had with you. You will never be forgotten and will always be loved. Keisha
