ANDREW, MADELINE LOVE of Irving passed away December 7, 2003 at the age of 95. She was born on September 2, 1908 in Dallas. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bruce Andrew, whom she met while in Canada after her mothers death. She lived the Depression years as a pioneer woman in Canada. She had two children while living in Canada, son Garfield and daughter Eleanor. She then moved with her family to Irving, Texas where she worked at the Defense Factory in Grand Prairie during World War II. After the war, she had two more children, Margaret and Carole. Madeline was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Irving, a member of the Irving PTA. She was a member of Bona Fide, Eastern Star, Garden Club, and The Book Club. She also worked for Sanger Harris. She is survived by her son James Garfield Andrew; daughters Eleanor Stringer; Margaret Montgomery and Carole Brown; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, December 13, 2003 at First Presbyterian Church in Irving.
