ADAMS, MICHIKO KASHIWAGI ADAMS was born on March 20th, 1937 in Iwate Prefecture, Japan. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love ones the morning of April 18, 2004. She is survived by four brothers and three sisters who all reside in Japan. She is also survived by her son Kenneth Kei Adams, her daughter-in-law Deborah Ann Adams and her granddaughter Isabelle Kei Adams. Michiko battled cancer from the day she was diagnosed back in October of 1993. She remained positive through it all and as her friends will let you know, they could rarely tell that she was sick. Her doctors often commented that they got more out of their patient/physician relationship with her than they felt they gave. Even when she felt horrible, she would take the time to bake rum cakes for her doctors or bring them a present from her most recent trip overseas. Michiko was a devoted mother, excellent wife, efficient director of a large corporation and most recently a doting grandmother. She will be missed by all.
