Magid, Nate Age 93, was born in Youngstown, Ohio on August 27, 1919. He was a WW11 veteran. While in the service he meet his wife Estelle Raskin in Sioux City, Iowa where they subsequently lived and raised their four children. He owned Raskin Packing Co. in Sioux City up until his retirement in 1980 when they moved to Dallas to be near their children. Nate is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Estelle. He was the most cherished father of: Larry (Kathy), Jeff (Lynn), Linda (Alan) Lato, Lisa (Ira) Kravitz. He was an adored grandfather (PAPA) of: Julie (Dave) Levenstein, Jennifer (Michael) Robbins, Alyson (Aaron) Epstein, AJ (Zoe), Kelsey, Kirby Magid, Jeremy, Michelle Lato, Andrea (Darren) Fanton, Alexa and Jayme Kravitz and 10 great grandchildren. Nate was a great man, a man of honor, respected and loved by all. He will be sorely missed. A graveside service will be held at Sparkman-Hillcrest (7405 W. Nor-thwest Hwy.) on Tuesday March 5th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Vogel Alcove or Jewish Family Service of Dallas.
