Neva Evelyn Heinlein Haron, age 93 and long time Dallas resident passed quietly into the presence of her Lord, February 7, 2013. She was born in 1919 to Lawrence and Belle Heinlein of Bayside, Texas. Neva is predeceased by her parents and her husband of 61 years, Carl I. Haron, her sisters, Stella Heinlein Olson and Bertie Heinlein McKinney and her brothers, Louis, Clarence and Harold Heinlein. She is survived by her children, Carlene Haron McNeill, Larry Haron, Kenneth Haron and five grandchildren, James, Angela, David, Jonathan and Matthew Haron. Raised on her parents' farm, Neva graduated from Texas A & I, and taught elementary school for over 25 years. She met her future husband, Carl I. Haron at a USO dance during his active duty at the US Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi. They married June 21,1946 and eventually settled in Dallas, TX where they raised Carlene, Larry and Ken and lived more than sixty years in the Casa Linda/White Rock Lake area. Neva was an active member of Reinhardt Bible Church, taught school at J.C. Rugal Elementary School in Mesquite and went on to earn her Masters degree in Education from East Texas State University. In her later years she enjoyed her involvement as a member of Redeemer Bible Church, Dallas, TX. Neva will be greatly missed by her family, neighbors, former co-workers, students and friends. Her memorial service will be 4PM at Redeemer Bible Church, 721 Easton Road, Dallas, Tx 75218. Memorials may be made to Redeemer Bible Church at the aforementioned address.
