Ryan, Patricia Richardson The Angels sounded their trumpets in the early morning of November 22, 2013 when Patricia Richardson Ryan was welcomed into heaven by our Lord. She was reunited with the love of her life, John Ryan, and innumerable loved ones after 95 wonderful years on Earth. Born into a large Dallas family, Patsy graduated from Ursuline Academy and then volunteered as a Red Cross nurse. A few years later, she married Army Captain John Ryan in 1945. Always devoted to family, Patsy and John settled in just blocks from her parents' home. As a mother of 8, Kathleen, Sharon, Tricia (Allen), John (Linda), Eileen, Margaret, Peter (Lynn) and Elizabeth, Patsy worked tirelessly to raise us while also finding the time to stay actively involved with church and school at Holy Trinity. A founding member and past president of the Ladies of Charity, an elementary school teacher, and a beloved family member, Patsy will be missed by many. Also celebrating her passage are her youngest brother, Rev. John Richardson, C.M., 19 loving grand-children, and a growing number of great grandchildren. Thanks for hanging out with us, Mom, as long as you did. We knew you were ready, and that dad was waiting for you and this comforts us all! We look forward to seeing you again. A Memorial Mass at Holy Trinity Church located at 3826 Gilbert Ave., Dallas, TX 75219, will be celebrated by Rev. John Richardson on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 1:30 pm. Memorials may be made to Ladies of Charity of Dallas.
