Balentine, Ralph Windell 80, passed away January, 14, 2012. Ralph was born on March 11, 1931 in Purdon, TX to Lorena and Ralph M. Balentine who preceded him in death. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years and was a graduate of the University of North Texas. Ralph retired from Lone Star Steel Co in Dallas after 35 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church Richardson and the Pathfinders Sunday school class. Ralph is survived by his wife of 50 years, Verlene Thompson Balentine; his daughter Lynne Zipko, her husband John; three grandchildren, Emily, Nicholas and Hannah Zipko; sisters, Ina Jones and Joann McCrory of Corsicana, TX; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church Richardson, 503 North Central Expressway Richardson, TX 75080 at 1 PM on January 17, 2012.
