Faas, Ruby May Ruby May Faas was born in Leedey, OK on March 30, 1912 and passed away on January 30, 2012. She would have been 100 in two months. After early life in Oklahoma, her family moved to Winslow, AR, then, on to Sunset, AR in 1920 by covered wagon and steam train. Later, after living in Arizona and California, she moved to Detroit, MI. She met her late husband, Norbert F. Faas at a Christmas party and married him on Aug. 4, 1942. They soon moved to Dallas, TX. After her husband passed away in 1988, she continued to live in Dallas until 1991. She then moved to the Lakewood Christian Care Center, where she lived until her death. She and her late husband were active in real estate from the 1940s. At the time of his passing, they had been active in 22 different clubs, including the Art club and Apiarian or Honey Bee club. Although they never had children, she is survived by two nieces, five nephews, and other relatives. She was much loved by many friends and has left many sweet memories. A public memorial will be on Saturday, February 4 at 3:00 PM at the Brentwood Church of Christ, 6516 Brentwood Stair Rd, Fort Worth, TX. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the
