Sarah Hebert Obituary

Hebert, Sarah Frances Mrs. Sarah Frances Hebert, age 86, of McKinney, Texas passed away June 30, 2009, at her home. She was born on March 2, 1923, in Gilmer, Texas to Joseph Robert and Daisey (Farmer) Brison. On September 14, 1944, she married Walter Hebert in Florida. She and Walter enjoyed 65 years of marriage together. Mrs. Hebert worked for the State of Arkansas as the head of data processing and licensing. She was a member of the Red Hat Society of McKinney and volunteered with the Pink Ladies in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was an active member of the Senior Citizens of McKinney and volunteered her time in Dallas schools reading to kindergarten children and volunteering at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. She is survived by her husband, Walter of McKinney; son, Walter Hebert III and wife, Donna also of McKinney; daughter, Tandy Mitchell and husband, Lee Roy of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Corey Hebert, Amber Hebert and Lauren Hebert Clements; step grandchildren, Vicki Roberts, Roy Lee Mitchell, Kathy Lee, Kelly Lee, and Kevin Mitchell; and sister, Norma Fink of Arlington, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Hubert Brison and sister, Ella Mae Brison. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2009, in the Turrentine - Jackson - Morrow Chapel with Msgr. Gaston Hebert officiating.
