Johnson, Shaina Aaron Shaina Johnson, of Charlotte, NC and Frisco, TX passed away on November 20, 2012 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas after 29 amazing years of life. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina where she attended Northwest School of the Arts and graduated from Providence Senior High School. She has waged a life-long battle with several autoimmune diseases, undergoing multiple liver trans-plants and beating the odds time and time again. Shaina fought tirelessly for the thing she loved most of all - being alive. She lived every moment of life to its fullest and was an inspiration to all those who knew her. Shaina passed away peacefully, in the arms of her loving family - her father Jeff, mother Joan, sister Alina, and brother David. She is also survived by her grandparents, Nancy and Jerry Johnson of Charlotte and Nobuko Weiss of Dallas. Also left to cherish her memory are her many aunts, uncles and cousins around the world. The Johnson family would like to thank those who have become her second family, Dr. Goran Klintmalm, Dr. Cedric Spak, and the countless other devoted doctors and nurses who helped Shaina over the course of her battle. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 25th at 1 o'clock in the afternoon at Harry and Bryant Co., 500 Providence Road in Charlotte, with Rabbi Judith Schindler officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
