Perry, Thomas Ray Thomas Ray Perry was born in Clyde, Texas to James Wilson and Mattie Elizabeth Denton Perry. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Era. Thomas was an engineer for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman, and for many years, he served as the President of the Texas Instruments Bass Club. Thomas Ray Perry passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013, in Katy, at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his son, Grant Perry and his wife Linda of Katy, Texas; daughter, Susan Cates and her husband John of Richmond, Texas; granddaughter, Catherine Cates; grandson, John Cates; and many more loving friends and family. He was preceded in death by both parents and a brother, Rex Perry. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel, in Katy, with Dr. Phil Lineberger officiating. Burial will be in Clyde, Texas.
