Sue & family,
Our deepest condolences on your loss. Bill was an inspiration to so many, that his memory will live on forever. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this time.
May you find peace in knowing that he touched the lives of everyone he met. He had such a positive impact on James and we are so blessed in knowing that Bill was like a father to him. We are thankful that we were allowed to be a part of your extended family.

Aunt Sue, Rick, Lyn, Kitty, and Tom,
So very sorry to hear of the death of Uncle Bill.
Uncle Bill was truly a special person. Our family truly loved him and Aunt Sue. We enjoyed visiting at the family reunion picnics in Wichita when all the relatives came together to celebrate and sing as the Coopers always did. They always made an effort to come to many celebrations and we welcomed them to our 40th anniversary in 1999.
We will always remember Uncle Bill in our prayers and know that he is in Heaven watching over all of us.

I was so saddened to hear of the death of Bill. He was a LONG time patient and very special friend of my husband, Dr. Hal Maxwell.
I always enjoyed seeing you both in your seats on stage at the Tate Lectures.
He indeed made such a significant contribution to his community in so many ways and indeed will never be forgotten and certainly will never be replaced.

Mr. Cooper was an example of what "Men for Others" was all about. His life example to those of us who knew him as "Tom's Dad" regularly reached out to him for advice or for selfish reasons when we needed help in our careers. We always walked away with far more than that after our conversations. Our education in life was always enhance after talking with Mr. Cooper and we learned that our selfish reasons were almost insignificant to the importance of what it means to love our faith, love our family and friends, love our country and always do what we can to help others. His influence on the many friends of Tom can attest, has provided us with a true example of what is important in life and we always walked away with far more than what we initially went to him for in the first place.
I am positive that Mr. Cooper is getting the "VIP" treatment by St. Peter and his example will live for generations to come because of his influence on "Tom's friends"

To Sue, Kitty, Lynn and all Bill's children and grandchildren, our deepest condolences on the passing of your dear Bill Cooper. He was a man among men. A man who walked like he talked, dealt fairly and honestly with everyone, and whose vision and strength of character has left indelible marks on his city and beloved country.
I will always cherish the years I spent at the other end of his office, doing what I could to support his far-sighted efforts to make the Dallas Market Center the premier marketplace it was in the 1970s and early 80s. He inspired all of us who worked with and for him to the highest degree of excellence.
As a personal friend over the years, there was none better. I loved Bill Cooper as my friend and will miss him deeply. May God grant him eternal peace and joy.
Gordon joins me in the hope that the memories Bill leaves behind will comfort and sustain you, Sue, and all of Bill;s loved ones in the days ahead.
