Bennie, Lynn Wall Lynn Wall Bennie Jr., 63, of Plano, Texas, passed away on August 24, 2013. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 31 at First Christian Church of Plano. Lynn was born in Memphis, Tennessee on June 19, 1950 to Lynn Wall Bennie & Lois Maxine Pritchett. He graduated from Foothill HS in Bakersfield CA in 1968 and continued on to attend Texas A&M University as a member of the Corps of Cadets. Lynn married Barbara T. Bennie (Taylor) at First Christian Church of Plano on September 23, 1972. Lynn is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Brooke and husband Kheang; his two grandchildren Madelynn & Cole; his four sisters Angilee McClure, Manina Duke, Judy McKee, and Janine Bennie. Lynn is preceded in death by his parents Lynn Bennie and Lois Bennie; as well as his half sisters Claudia & Dorinda. Lynn worked at John E Mitchell Co. & then at the City of Farmers Branch from 1972-2003, Plano ISD from 2003-2008, and City of University Park from 2008-2013. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the First Christian Church Building Fund.
