Reid, Caroline Elizabeth Talaban November 20, 1964 March 2, 2014 Caroline Elizabeth Talaban Reid of Coppell, Texas passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord on March 2, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Dr. Raymundo Talaban and Nenita Talaban, Nov. 20, 1964, in Elyria, OH. Caroline graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1983. She graduated with honors from the University of Missouri in 1987 with a BS in finance. She married her high school sweetheart, John W. Reid III on May 26, 1990. Caroline was a sweet thoughtful woman. She loved music, shopping, and baking. Her greatest love was watching her sons play soccer. She was a soccer mom first class. Caroline courageously battled stage 4 Lung Cancer and numerous complications for two and a half years. Her resiliency and faith were inspirational to all her friends and so many others. Caroline worked as financial and budget analyst for Verizon from 1987 - 2010. She later worked for McKesson as a financial/business analyst. Caroline was a member of First United Methodist Church Coppell, Coppell Cowboys Soccer Booster Club and Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She enjoyed volunteering for her sons' schools and soccer teams. Caroline is survived by her husband, John, their three sons; Harper (20), Kellen (18) and Ty (11) of Coppell, TX; sister Cathy Hauck of Katy, TX; sister Andrea Andrews and her husband Eric Andrews of Lee's Summit, MO; parents Ray and Nenita Talaban of Fredericktown, MO. She is also survived by nieces Samantha Hauck, Olivia Hauck, Molly Andrews, Eliza Andrews, Hannah Reid, Lauren Reid, and Kate Reid; and nephews Sam Reid and Max Reid. The family would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Derrick Nyguen and the staff at Texas Oncology Flower Mound for their compassionate care. Also a heartfelt thank you to the ICU nurses, respiratory therapists and doctors at Texas Health Presbyterian Flower Mound for the excellent care during Caroline's many stays. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 07, 2014 at 11:00AM at First United Methodists Church of Coppell. Interment will follow at Rolling Oaks Memorial Center in Coppell, Texas.
