Damron, James Emmett Age 69, went to heaven on April 27th, 2014 after losing his battle with lung cancer at Plano Presbyterian Hospital. Jim was born on March 6, 1945 in Brownwood, Texas. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio in 1963, and attended the University of Texas in Austin. Jim loved God, family, friends, beloved dogs Mia and Oscar, fishing, and Longhorn football. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he was an Elder. He loved and cherished his friends at Evergreen Senior Living in Lewisville. A special thank you to his church members and Evergreen friends for making his last years happy and memorable. Jim is survived by his beloved daughter, Andrea Kiesling, son Timothy Damron (Jessica), sister Linda Burch, along with numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Jim's life on Thursday, May 1 at 10:00am, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 615 N. MacArthur drive, in Coppell, Tx. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Operation Kindness at 3201 Earhart Drive, Carrollton, Tx 75006.
