Jeffries, Lynn Margaret D'Aloia Age 71 of Plano, died peacefully after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014. Lynn was born November 22, 1942 in Mineola, New York, the daughter of the late Josephine Margaret Antoine and the late Anthony Victor D'Aloia. Her father's long time employment with American Airlines made it possible for her to enjoy living in many places in the U.S. and to travel widely in her youth. She graduated from North High School in Torrance, California and attended El Camino College in California before moving to Dallas with her family in 1962. In Dallas, she married the love of her life, the late Eugene Thomas Jeffries, on April 18, 1964 and raised two children in Plano and Murphy, Texas. Lynn was diagnosed with a progressive form of Multiple Sclerosis when she was in her mid-twenties and despite the increased physical challenges she faced through much of her life, she was filled with an exuberance and generosity of spirit that inspired all who were blessed to know her. She always found a reason to laugh, sing and make those around her feel loved. Lynn is survived by her daughter, Melissa Lynn Jeffries Morales and her son-in-law, Ignatius Joseph Morales, Jr. of Plano, Texas, and her son, Gregory Thomas Jeffries and her daughter-in-law, Rebecca Dinsmore Jeffries of Carrollton, Texas. She is further survived by her sister, Janet Lucille D'Aloia Hubbard of Marietta, Georgia; her brother, Richard Victor D'Aloia of Mequon, Wisconsin, her brother, John Douglas D'Aloia of Trophy Club, Texas; nieces, Elizabeth Lynn Hubbard Hook of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Carol Jeffries McKenny and Kay Jeffries of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and nephews, Richard Buell Hubbard, IV of Athens, Georgia, John Randall Baker of Mequon, Wisconsin, Mark Erin Baker of Glendale, Wisconsin and Thomas Jeffries of Mustang, Oklahoma. A memorial service celebrating the beauty of Lynn's life will be held at the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas at 11 AM, May 3, 2014. The family wishes to thank all of those who brought such joy to her life over the past years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
