Rulli, Christopher Michael Christopher Michael Rulli, 32, originally of Plano, Texas, passed away in Hawaii on June 26, 2014. He was born in Portland, Oregon on May 31, 1982. Christopher graduated from Plano Senior High School and achieved his Associates of Arts Degree in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Arts Institute in Hyde Park, New York. For the last several years he has demonstrated his culinary skills in Hawaii as a chef for the Amasia Restaurant in the Grand Wailea Hotel on Maui. Christopher had a passion for the sports of ice hockey and snow skiing, both as an enthusiast as well as an active participant and competitor; and dearly loved his dog, Kodac. All who knew Christopher found him to be a soft-spoken, caring, loving and gentle soul of a person. He is survived by his mother, Sherri Rulli and her husband, Doug Bashaw, of Plano, Texas; father, Michael Rulli and his wife, Kathryn Rulli, of Frisco, Texas; uncles, Robert Humphrey of Portland, Oregon, James Rulli and wife, Jeanie of Vancouver, Washington, and Nick Rulli and wife, Christine of Portland, Oregon; numerous cousins, stepbrothers and stepsisters; and his Godmother, Laura Housseas of Portland, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Alexander Michael Rulli, who passed away on December 2, 2013. Services will be held at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 13555 Hillcrest Road, Dallas, Texas 75240, with a Prayer Service on Monday, July 7 at 7pm and Funeral Service at 10am on Tuesday, July 8. Following the entombment at Hillcrest Memorial Park, the family will host a reception at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home.
