Francis Elaine Dickinson Hart Obituary
Hart, Frances Elaine Dickinson Frances Elaine Dickinson Hart, 91, of Dallas, TX graduated to heaven on August 1, 2014. She was born on February 10, 1923 in Shelbyville, TX to John and Carrie Dees Dickinson. She was married to Michael Larry Hart on July 30, 1949 in Fort Worth, TX. They had 63 wonderful years together, and built an amazing life that was influential in the lives of so many others. She passed from this life 2 days after what would have been their 65th wedding anniversary. She was a woman of many affectionate names. To her husband Larry, she was known as "Sugar". To her sons she was known first as "Mommy" and later "Mom". To a myriad of nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews she was known as "Auntie", although with the East Texas pronunciation of "Aintie"; And lastly to her grandchildren and great grandchildren as "Nanny". Children were always her greatest joy. Two entire generations stayed with her for fun filled summer visits that included pancake breakfasts, teaching, and wise counsel. She and Larry were married while he was still a student at Texas A&M, and was side by side with him at hundreds of Aggie football games, both home and away from Boston to Seattle to Hawaii to Alabama to San Antonio to South Bend and many in between; creating a second and third generation of Aggies along the way. Their time together was equally noteworthy for their shared passion of traveling the globe with an amazing number of spectacular trips. Her greatest accomplishment, however were the family members she influenced to become followers of Jesus Christ or caused to deepen their faith. She and Larry share leaving a proud and memorable legacy to their sons Glenn Hart and wife, Lauren of Houston; Gregg Hart and wife, Annette of Flower Mound; grandsons, Michael Hart and wife, Anne of Houston; Landon Hart of Houston; granddaughters, Katie Hart Baskara and husband Zach of San Diego, California; Jennifer Hart of Tucson, Arizona; Angela Hart of Flower Mound; great grandsons Caleb, Joshua, and baby boy to be born in September 2014 Baskara of San Diego, California; great granddaughter Victoria Hart of Houston. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm at the Restland Funeral Home - Coppell Chapel, with funeral services following at 3:30 pm Wednesday, August 6, 2014 with Pastor Dick De Witt officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 9, 2014 in the Aggie Field of Honor at the Memorial Cemetery, 3800 Raymond Stotzer Parkway, College Station, Texas.
