Gracy Sr., Ricky Don of Garland, Texas went home to be with the Lord on August 25, 2014 at the age of 59.Rick was born in Dallas on July 28, 1955. He graduated from North Garland High School.His strong love and belief in Jesus was evident in the way he loved others. He embraced life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He had a passion for motorcycling and was a proud member of the Dickweed Motorcycle Club. Rick was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. A prankster full of joy, he loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. Rick was known for his generous heart and would go out of his way to help anyone at any time. He had a life-long career as a successful salesman in lumber and hardware. He was currently working alongside his brother Rodger at Gracy Cabinets. Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Kenneth Sr. & Clara Jenell Gracy and his brother Jesse Kenneth "Kenny" Gracy Jr.Rick is survived by his twin sister Vicki Lane of Sachse, brother Randy and wife Christy Gracy of Garland, brother Rodger and wife Tracey Gracy of Wylie, daughter Shannon Plog and husband Mike of North Richland Hills, daughter April Lewis and husband David of Keller, son Ricky Don Gracy Jr. and wife Jassica of Garland, son Justin Gracy and wife Pinki of Garland, daughter Sarada Gracy of Garland and son Landon Gideon of Garland. His legacy also includes eleven grandchildren: Brooke Lewis, Andy Red, Moriah Lewis, Isaiah Gracy, Kiersten Lewis, Jaden Lewis, Elijah Plog, Charles Gracy, Joseph Gracy, Ricky Don Gracy III, and Emma Gracy along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and the whole bunch of Dickweeds he called family.The visitation will be held from 7:00-9:00 PM on Friday, August 29 at the Williams Funeral Home in Garland. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 30 at the First Assembly of God in Lavon. Burial will immediately follow the funeral at Thompson Cemetery in Copeville.
