My words are inadequate to express the sorrow, yet simultaneous joy I feel... Our world is less bright and will have less laughter with Jonny's passing. I will miss his honesty and his humor most of all. I hope he is playing his music for a celestial audience as I write this. I know God called him to a special place!

Jonny had values that not many people dont have today - he truly did care about other people. It was his nature to love and try to make everything smooth for everyone. I had the pleasure of working with him for many years and I will truly miss my dear friend. I am so blessed that I have the pleasure of him and Connie in my life. I wish more people were like Jonny in this world, what a great place this would be. I know he is looking down on us all right now with a drink in one hand and a hand on the piano and having a good time. Blessed is he.

I was blessed to have played music with Jonny back in Midland. I considered him a friend. He was such a Godly person and had such a love for the down and out. I was shocked to learn he had been called home. I'm looking forward to jamming with him in the heavenly band one of these days!

Jonny was indeed a special man. He touched so many lives on a daily basis. I am one of the fortunate one's to have been able to spend 10 years with Jonny at AT&T. He helped me much more than I could ever have helped him. But that was Jonny. One of the finest men I have ever met. I was so lucky to have Jonny refer to me as friend. I love ya Brother.

There are no words to express how deeply and profoundly saddened I am at Jonny's passing. I can take comfort in knowing the last time I saw him we hugged, and said I LOVE YOU.
