Morgan, Martha Reesing Oct. 5, 1926 - April 21, 2012 Martha Theresa Reesing was born to Otto H. and Elma Grimland Reesing in Cranfills Gap, TX. After graduating as salutatorian of her high school class, she attended Clifton Junior College and graduated from North Texas State College (now UNT) in Denton. Martha married Jack S. Morgan on July 13, 1947. They made their home in Dallas and were the parents of two daughters, Janet and Jean. As her children grew up Martha was a PTA officer, Sunday School teacher, and Blue Bird leader. Later, she began working in the company Jack had owned for many years, Morgan Engraving Co., until they both retired. Martha loved music all her life. She and Jack were long-time choir members at Central Lutheran Church, their church home since 1947. Martha was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Harlan Reesing. She is survived by her husband, Jack; her daughters Janet McEowen (Dale) of Dallas, TX and Jean Pryor (Roger) of Normal, IL; three grandchildren, Caroline Pryor, Taylor Pryor and Jonathan McEowen; her brother John Reesing (Hallie Jo) of San Antonio, TX; and her sister Evelyn Smith of Cranfills Gap, TX. A memorial service will be held at Central Lutheran Church, 1000 Easton Rd., Dallas, TX 75218 on Wednesday, April 25, at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Central Lutheran Church, C. C. Young Home, or the .
