Norwine, Philip Conrad Philip Conrad Norwine, 81, passed away on East-er Sunday, April 8, 2012 in Seattle Wash. Memor-ial requiem will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, May 19th, at St. Vincent's Cathedral, 1300 Forest Ridge Drive, Bedford Tx. Memorials: Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Associa-tion. He was born March 29, 1931, in Passaic N.J. Phil spent his child-hood in Short Hills, N.J., where he attended Milburn High School and later graduated from Rennselare Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., with a degree in aeronautical engin-eering. After retiring from the U.S. Navy in 1958 as a jet and helicopter pilot, Phil began a 35-year career in military sales with Bell Helicopter Co. in Fort Worth. He retired to Seattle,WA. in 2002. He will be re-membered as a loving husband and father with many friends who appreciated his humor, love of God and passion for life. Survivors: Phil is survived by Jan, his wife of 56 years; sons, Greg (Amanda), Doug (Gigi), of Seattle, WA; Bryan (Amy), Clifton (Michelle) of Texas; daughter Valerie Doerrfeld (Bill) of Roslyn, WA. and a brother, David of Westfield, N.J., and 12 grand-children.
