Dodge, Dr. Lawrence Burnham Dr. Lawrence Burnham Dodge, aged 69, departed this life 17 July 2012 in Dallas. Larry was born in Oakland, CA. He is survived by his wife Honey Lanham Dodge, 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. Having earned a doctorate of Sociology in 1972 from Brown U, Dr. Dodge was a professor at the U of NY and the U of MT. He was also a professional photographer who built a photographic souvenir business in MT and WY. After selling that business, the Dodges moved to Panama and built a B&B. Upon selling the B&B, Larry turned his attention to music and writing lyrics. He was an active member of the Dallas Songwriters Association. He was also a political activist, mostly with the Libertarian Party, and he was the co-founder of the Fully Informed Jury Association. Dr. Dodge was a nationally recognized political educator, speaker and commentator on juries. He was featured in countless news and magazine articles as well as radio and television programs. He was a brilliant, kind, generous, and caring man who touched many lives with his knowledge, his friendship, and his love of life, freedom, and people. Friends and family will gather for Larry's memorial on Saturday, the 18th of August, at 2:00 pm in the Berkley Room at the Cooper Aerobics Center, 12230 Preston Road, Dallas. Larry's favorite organizations were The Fully Informed Jury Association, Habitat for Humanity, The Property and Environment Research Center, and Gun Owners of America.

As I go to my mom's memorial today (Colleen Dodge Harris), I remember my dad, Larry. He was funny, loving, a great song writer and I will miss him for my remaining days. Love you dad. Tawnie Dodge Black
