Franks, Joshua Lee Joshua Lee Franks born October 16, 1983 passed away Friday at his home in Argyle, Texas September 7, 2012 at the age of 28. Joshua graduated from Northwest High School in 2002. He joined the Marine Corps in November 2002 and served three tours in Iraq; during such time he survived three different road side bombs. He was honorably discharged from the Marine Corp., November 2006. He was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor February 2007. He lost his battle with cancer Friday morning. Joshua is survived by his amazing wife, Candi Delp Franks; parents, Buddy and Alta Franks; father-in-law, Stan Delp; mother-in-law, Melinda Douglas; sisters, Renee and husband Javi Rosales, Shannon and husband Rick Eades, Carrie Fink, Sarah and husband Sterling Baland; brother, Randy and wife Wennie Franks; sister-in-law, Sarah Douglas; brothers-in-law, Jeff and wife Tiffany Delp, Ross Douglas, Jr.; several nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home located at 606 W. Airport Freeway (Highway 183) Irving, Texas 75062. Funeral will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Donnelly's Colonial Chapel, with burial at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX.
