England, Gail Gilbert Gail Gilbert England passed away October 4, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. Gail is preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Fred A. England, her mother Ruby Rae Gilbert, her father Wyatt Henry Gilbert, sister Suzanne Gilbert Surratt, and sister Valerie Gilbert Baker. Gail was born in Gainesville, Texas, May 6, 1934, but grew up in Austin, Texas. She graduated from Austin High in 1951, and attended the University of Texas until she moved to Dallas and married Dr. Fred England. She spent two years living in England while Fred was serving in the USAF. She is survived by her only child, Cindy England Looze (son-in-law, Joseph Looze), grandsons Dylan Looze and Aaron Looze, as well as, nieces Lynda Surratt, Cathy Renfeld, and nephews, Chris Baker and Rusty Surratt. She was an active member of Irving Schools PTA's, Dallas County Ladies Dental Auxiliary, Daughters of the San Jacinto Republic, the Irving Symphony League, Las Colinas Tennis League, and the Irving Book Club.
