Nan Anderson Obituary
Anderson, Nan Bailey Nan Bailey Anderson of Plano, Texas went to her heavenly home on November 11, 2012. She was a native Texan who was born in Detroit, Texas to A. S. (Mack) and Robbie Dowlen Bailey on July 29, 1917. She was a long time Irving, Texas resident and lived there most of her life. All that knew her loved her spirit and determination. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be missed by many friends all over the United States, and her family. Nan was a retired Executive Secretary of Texas Power & Light Company for 25 years. Her hard work and loyalty to that company was appreciated by many of her former supervisors who kept up with her over the years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Ray L. (Babe) Anderson and great granddaughter Meredith Lynn Thomas. She is survived by her daughter Linda Avery; son Michael Anderson and wife Carmen; grandchildren Randy McAllister and wife Misty, Lisa McAllister Wood and husband Michael, Kelly Thomas Lyon and husband Tim, Nicole Medina and husband Joe; and great grandchildren Sara Strube, Austin Strube, Allison Strube, Jordan Jackson and husband Jon, and Bailie McAllister. A funeral service is planned for 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Brown's Memorial Chapel, 707 N. MacArthur Boulevard, Irving. Burial will follow at Sowers Cemetery in Irving.
