Grahm, Nancy Reid Nancy Reid Grahm (63) passed away in her DeSoto home, November 1, 2012. She was born September 5, 1949, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to John D. and Dorothy (Dube) Reid. She attended Broadalbin High School in New York and earned a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Oswego. She then moved to France and studied at Sorbonne University in Paris, earning a certificate of completion for studying French Civilization, for a year, abroad. After moving back to the states and taking up residence in Dallas, Texas, in 1977, she earned her master's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She touched the lives of many young men and women as a teacher of French and English at Tyler Street Christian Academy (approximately 10 years), and at Duncanville High School (approximately 20 years). Nancy enjoyed traveling both in the US, and abroad. She returned to her beloved France as well as Switzerland, Spain and Italy multiple times and has requested that her ashes be spread in the places she loved. Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kellie (Grahm) Eubanks and granddaughter Kara Eubanks of Arlington and her sisters, D. Kim Reid of Massachusetts and Carol O'Malley of Pennsylvania. She will be sorely missed.
