McClellan, Bill COLLEYVILLE -- Bill McClellan, beloved husband, father, grandfather Paps and friend, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012. Service: 3 p.m. Thursday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Memorials: Colleyville Women's Club, c-w-c.org, or G.R.A.C.E. in Grapevine, www.gracegrapevine.org. Bill was born August 14, 1936 to Goldie and Walker McClellan. Bill was a self professed entrepreneur and investor in several business ventures during the course of his lifetime. His love for the challenge of business development was his passion. Bill and his long time business partner, David Cox, were co-founders of several financial enterprises including Nationwide Leasing, United Leasing, First Leasing and First Net. He was currently serving as founder and president of Eagle Merchant Services. Though business was a large part of Bill's life, his main passion and true love was his family. He married Judy Hawthorne on November 22, 1968 and they spent 44 happy years together raising their daughters, Janae and April. Bill and Judy loved to travel and took numerous trips to Europe and Acapulco. But what Bill loved most was just to spend time with all of his family. He will be greatly missed. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David McClellan; and sister, Mary Beth LeCrone. Survivors: wife, Judy McClellan; daughters, Janae Chamblee and husband, George, and April Hanson and husband, Ryan; grandsons, Jack and Adam Hanson; brother, J.W. McClellan; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
