Ford, Trey Walter O. (Trey) Ford, III, 55, of San Marcos slipped in to God's loving arms on Saturday, December 22, 2012. Trey was born in Wichita Falls to Walter Ford Jr. and Barbara Ann Ford, where he lived until age 13 when his family moved to Midland. At age 19, Trey was the victim of a gun incident and spent the remainder of his life in a wheelchair. Trey led an active, productive and independent life - graduating from Texas Tech University and living and working in Midland, Wichita Falls, Dallas, Austin, and San Marcos, Texas. An avid outdoorsman and hunter throughout his life, Trey holds the record for the largest Boone and Crocket pronghorn ever taken in Texas (1994), which now hangs at the event center of the Kerr Wildlife Management Area near Hunt, Texas. Trey is survived by his parents, Barbara Ford of San Marcos, Walter & Laura Ford of Kerrville and Santa Fe; sisters, Sharon Graves (Rick) of Fischer and Karen Ford of Austin; nephews Ford Pierson (Lindy), Chase Pierson (Melissa), and Jake Lynch; aunts, Mary Jane Harvey of Wichita Falls and Charlene Johnson of Granbury.
