Brock, Melvin F. Born February 4, 1917 in Columbus Nebraska. Passed away January 12, 2013 in Dallas, TX. A WWII Navy Veteran who served in the Atlantic as Captain of a sub chaser USS PC550. He was an executive with General Electric until retirement in 1982. He was Preceded in death by his wife Norma and second wife Joy, his father Isaac Brock, mother Katherine Brock, brother Elmer, sisters, Lucile and Irene. He is survived by his son Robert and his wife Sue, Granddaughters Becky Brock, Amy Alvizo and Jennifer Brock, great grandsons Atticus and Adrian Alvizo, nephew John Belsly and nieces Barbara Grant, Susan Brooks and Judy Rochford.
