Miller, Edward Teal Miller, Edward Teal, 80, passed away January 25, 2013 in Tyler, Texas. He was born September 2, 1932 in Spur, Texas to Spencer Bryan and Oma Dale (Poole) Miller. Ed graduated from Sunset High School in 1950 and Baylor Law School in 1958. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Korean War Conflict. Ed was an attorney starting his career in the Dallas District Attorney's office in the late 1950's. He spent many years in private practice and served as corporate council for Continental Mechanical. In 1984, Ed established a law firm in Coppell, practicing until his retirement in 1998. He was an active member of the State Bar of Texas and Dallas Bar Association. He was a longtime Coppell resident prior to moving to Winnsboro in 2006. He is survived by his three sons, Bryan Miller of Dallas, Pete Miller and wife, Taffy, of Coppell, and John Miller of Dallas; five grandchildren, Laura Miller, Liz Miller Griffin and husband, Lance, Chris Miller, D.O., Spencer Miller and Cade Miller; one great-grandchild, Reed Griffin; and one brother, Riley Ray Miller of Dallas. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:30am -11:30am, Monday, February 4, 2013. Funeral services will follow at 11:30am at Restland Coppell Chapel. Interment will be held at 1:30pm at Dallas-Ft.Worth National Cemetery.
